Dear Correspondents,

Only a few governments have expressed interest in the intersessional meeting on the Athens Convention scheduled for next Tuesday. I therefore think the better way forward is to *cancel the meeting*, and give priority to other ways of securing progress. The meeting is therefore canceled.

The States that have indicated that they would like to be represented are: UK, Finland, Netherlands and Norway.
The NGOs that have indicated that they would like to be represented are: P&I, ICCL.

Regards,
Erik Røsæg
