Subject: 85th session of the IMO Legal Committee - HNS
Dear colleagues
In preparation for the forthcoming Legal Committee
session later this month, and the discussions on the work of the HNS
Correspondence Group, please find enclosed for your information the two papers
that the UK has submitted to the IMO on this agenda item.
The first paper is the report of the work of the group
and its future work <https://rosaeg.no/uio/HNS/5.pdf>.
It is intended that this will be discussed on the floor of the Committee. The
second paper is an information paper that is an updated version of the paper we
circulated to the Correspondence Group on incidents involving the carriage of
HNS by Sea <https://rosaeg.no/uio/HNS/INF-2.pdf>.
Many thanks, I look forward to seeing you at the IMO later this month. Kind
regards
David Baker
